Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Wazzu is summiting next week :-)

Hey guys.... wazzu has been training her ass off for the last few months. She just kicked San Gorgornios butt, has hiked Baldy, Ice House, San Jacinto, a short Whitney pre hike, local mountains and much more. She helped save a hiker who was delirious and seeing things when she tried to summit last year, so she's a really caring person who put someone elses health ahead of her goals. Let's wish her luck. She's going up on the 31st on a two night attempt. She'll be going alone, so if you see her on the trail, wish her luck.

wazzu's schedule:

8/28 - 8/29 Horseshoe Meadow (camp, hike, acclimate)
8/30 - 1 night at the portal
8/31 - after breakfast at the store, Outpost Camp
9/1 - Consultation Lake
9/2 - SUMMIT DAY!!!!!! and return to CL for the night
9/3 - Burger & Beer at the store.
