Might as well start finding the necessary $100k for Everest.
Great trip report. But atari, I don't think the Sherpas will like Burchey helping them!
Burchey is a climbing machine, but he has quite a ways to go to top this Sherpa couple getting married on Everest (what a wife!):
http://www.everestsummiteersassociation.org/newold-records Atari, you're too nice man. We're all working to improve our climbing, I'd imagine. What's nice about the mountains is it seems like you always run into someone you can learn from. That Brad character had done the traverse before, seemed pretty strong, and gave us some words of advice/encouragement. Then he made like a banana and split. I'd imagine he got in all 5 before the sun set.
I wish I would have taken more pictures - there were so many awesome / scary shots to be had, but we were more worried about time and keeping our hands on the holds. If you haven't already, check summitpost, etc for an idea of the route(s). Awesome place to climb.
We actually joked about bringing a pizza up in our packs - it's all about the pizza.
Great attitude. I love taking pictures dude, and know what you mean. Priorities (getting back in one piece) come first. I know what those routes look like from Summitpost, and I've been to Agassiz looking over that those 14ers. It'd scare the crap out of me.
Pizza delivered you say? Why pack it, when you can get it delivered??? Check out the last few pictures:
