Laura, that north ridge of Mt Tom must be the meanest ridge in the Sierra, with its base at 6,000 and summit at 13,652, in about 4.5 miles! Your hitting it over and over again is incredible.

But to make that kind of elevation gain and return in a day, any obstacle like crunching through any significant snow would stop even Super Woman! You'll make it -- in June!
That is a beautiful picture, with the setting moon, AND the shadow of the ridge you are climbing!
