Today was another perfect day on the mountain we left the portal at 3:04AM made it to the summit at 7:47 AM 4hrs 43 min then back down got to car at 11:43 had a good day . Lots of people out and it looked like most would summit . For those wondering about the cables, they are passable with running shoes and no spikes or crampons , there is a good path through that section. The trail is in great shape all the way to the top No snow , for those day hiking I would recommend leaving in shorts and carry just enough water and food with a wind shell and maybe a light down jacket it makes the climb so much easier just a suggestion .
