Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Main Whitney Trail closed, Sept 4-7 and 10-13 !!!

It's most likely maintenance. The last major work done to the trail was in the 1999/2000 period.

I can't think of any other reason to close it other and blasting of some sort.
