I loved reading your GCR2R trip report. It made me feel so relaxed as I read it. You always make your hiking trips seem so effortless as if you are always packed and ready to go. You never seem to run into in 'rough spots' during your journey. You must do lots of homework on the area you are going to travel in and around.
Do you begin packing your backpack with gear a month in advance. Please share some of your tips for preparing for your hiking trips. I know you're a husband, a dad, an employee, a home owner and you monitor the Whitney Zone and the Whitney Portal site so the words "spare time" together probably do not pass over your lips often.
You absolutely amaze me with how organized and prepared your are for the trail blazing you do.
