Thanks all! I forgot to thank the makers of Gu. It was my best source of energy for the hike and I had one every hour or two on the way up.
The guy with the prosthetics did not hike. His girlfriend did while he hung out at the portal campground. He probably could have gotten to mirror lake up the trail, slowly, but has blisters on his stumps and needs adjustments to the prosthetics so did not enjoy walking at all. That would certainly be more impressive than my preggo summit.
