Hey All...
I'm taking my 12 year old son on his first backpacking trip. We're spending 3 nights in the Emmigrant Wilderness in August and if all goes well will be heading to Whitney in early Sept. For the past 2 1/2 years he's been fighting brain cancer, but is well enough to make this trip happen in a few weeks. My wife is worried about us so I want to take a SPOT along. Any recommendations for places to rent them? Not sure how this trip will go and am already buying lots of gear for Tyler, so don't have the funds right now to buy and pay for the unit and service.
