Hi, I'm looking to do Whitney via Mountaineer Route in 1 day on Saturday, Sep 21. I will be driving from SF with a car, so I can pick you up in the Bay Area. I don't have a permit yet, my plan is to pick up a dayhike permit on Friday, Sep 20 at the ranger station.
