Moving to Santa Maria from Napa constitutes "return[ing] to California"?
That could explain why my Red's Meadow resupply box went to a Santa Maria P.O box first, then to Mammoth. I knew Baja California was in another country, but I didn't realize Alta California was, too. I'll have to remember that.
