That's cheating, Steve. Trail Peak is south of Lone Pine.

I love Trail Peak. We did it as our out from doing Cirque Peak one June. The views from Trail Peak are fantastic.

I'd do it as a loop going over Cottonwood Pass. The portion of the hike south of Cottonwood Pass make this a great hike.
