Did an August hike up the MR a couple of years back, great temperatures, very comfortable. Then the clouds moved in and the hike down the main trail was hail and rain for nearly 6 miles. Extremely cold. So, what's the weather going to be like? Anything it wants to be, and as said earlier, Monsoon season, which was long last Summer.
That said, July 26 is a good date.
