Yes, I'm keeping an eye on the weather, last year during the government shutdown we where heading up Whitney expecting only a few inches of snow but stopped at trail camp because everyone we ran into coming down said they where hitting knee to hip high snow drifts at 13,000 and no one seemed to be getting to the top, we will try again this summer and see where we get to. I went up Marion Mountain trail the first time with a little bit of snow on it and that made the trip great, 3 liters lasted me the whole hike. This should be interesting. Do you have a GPX file of the hike ? I do not. If you have one that would be great. pacatc@gmail.com

One of my favorite shots looking down from the top of San Jacinto I was lucky enough to get with just a little wind blown snow at the top.
