Of course when you get there it never looks quite the same as the picture
. It looks to me that there might be a way via the rocks just to the right of the center of your picture (slightly right of the "bump" on top), finishing up the scree to the right of the bump. Of course I have no idea as to the scale, so perhaps not. Is this the "S" you were thinking of?
I will most likely try the lake 6 route (provided snow is gone). Based on your flickr pictures it seems you favor the right side of the chute. Would this be correct? One of your colleagues went to the left, and looked to be in a bit of a precarious position. IMG_6734 from 9-14-2013. Guess she made it without problem, but perhaps more exposure on the left side?
