Thanks, sounds reasonable. Where can I find more info about the backpacker campground(s)? I understand a second one was added recently? I'm not clear where either one is exactly, and I've yet to find a really good map of the Whitney Portal area that shows them. The BP campgrounds are just walk-in right? No reservation or fee required? Can I park my car outside the BP campground, or do I need to park further away and then hike there?
