Welcome WH. I read that some PCT thru-hikers climbed Forester Pass from the south heading north late in may, and they had some pretty bad snow conditions. But by mid-June, it should be quite different, and I would expect you will find a much more useable trail by then.
The bad part of Forester is on the south-facing slope, so it gets lots of direct sun. Snow won't last long there.
