OK .. if I interpret this photo correctly, it is pointed uphill on the main trail and the MR trail branches off to the right just below the creek.
If that is true, then I understand why I didn't see it last time (faulty old memory aside). I always start at the "old" trail head at the upper end of the road. It joins the "new" trail just above the creek. And I was thinking the MR trail started above the creek and took a false? trail from there.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I will probably check it out sometime in the next couple weeks.
