Hi all. I'm planning on summitting Whitney in early July and have been wondering what the snow conditions will be like on the Mountaineer's Route at the time. Does anyone have any predictions on how the snow levels will be? I'm wondering in particular about the chute up from Iceberg Lake and the final climb to the peak itself. Will I still need crampons? Thanks in advance.
