I was out there last week.
Here are some photos. The only 'real' issue was a deteriorating snow bridge a bit past where the trail descends to avoid the cliff band. This isn't at the huge wash out where the trail was rerouted, but a bit before it. I think I marked it on
this map, but I am not 100% sure on the location. It seemed to be melting out pretty quickly and I think once it's not in danger of a collapsing a few feet on to some boulders, the water will probably be flowing through the boulders and crossing wouldn't be a huge issue. But who knows. Maybe it would be. I certainly wouldn't want to have crossed it within the few days after we did on the way out.
