My wife and I will hike to Lone Pine Lake on July 14 to celebrate our 10th anniversary. It is the same hike we did 10 years ago. We are assembling the same clothes we wore that day. Miraculously, we can still fit in them!

TeamBruin: Yep, she was definitely a keeper.

Looking forward to seeing Doug and Earlene and crew for the first time in five years when we last went to the summit in June 2012. I am going to eat 2 orders of fries. BTW, we went vegan three weeks ago so taters count as veggies. India Pale Ale is plant based. Made from hops. Did I forget to mention pancakes? Flour is derived from wheat. Counts as plant-based. Pass the syrup please!

We will arrive in Bishop on July 13 and stay at our favorite hotel for two days before heading back home through Tioga Pass.

We plan to camp at Aspen Grove just to chill out and eat good food at Whoa Nellie Deli in Lee Vining. Almost glamping.

Then head on home to Oakhurst through Tioga Pass.

Hopefully, we will hook up with Kurt Wedberg, who was our officiant on that beautiful day at Whitney Portal, on July 13. He as an ascent up the MR planned for July 14. He told me of some great news concerning himself. Looking forward to that encounter. Maybe Whiskey Creek in Bishop. Maybe my wife and I will let our guard down and just pig out.

Might even see Crazy Jack and Betsy...who knows.

Moosetracks? Maybe we will see you in that organic bistro in Bishop if it is still open. Forgot the name of it.

We are definitely stopping at Schat's Bakkery. More plant based food!

Bottom line: We are looking forward going to The Other Side. It's nicer over thar!

Journey well...
