FWIW, I was up there on 5/31. The trail was snow covered at the halfway point, so it was prety much straight up with ice axe and crampons. Snow condition was pretty firm on the way up in the morning but was very slushy as the day warmed up making climbing down a bit of a slip-slide affair. The temps are starting the warm and I would expect the trail the be "mostly" clear by mid-June.
