Just wanted to get an update on the trail and whatever snow there may be remaining.
We're coming on August 3 and would like to know if there's any serious snow or if we'll be able to hike the entire way with just regular hiking boots and poles.
I don't mind some snow but one of the messages I read yesterday seemed to indicate (on July 26) that there could be some dangerous spots. Granted, we'll be there eight days later, but I'd still like an update.
Anything you guys can fill me in on, I'd appreciate.
