DUG, excellent trip report. Actually, for that many kids, only one spilled water bottle and only one killer grouse attack is a pretty good showing! Glad you also got to meet some board folks face to face - I know that was satisfying. I'm looking forward to that as well in a few weeks.
Most importantly though, thank you for your time and effort to get these kids out in the wild on behalf of the Scouts. The dedication that you and Chris (SoCalGirl) put into this will pay big dividends down the road - kind of a pay-it-forward thing. Precious few children nowdays are being introduced to the wilderness by their parents, and the things you and Chris do with these kids will multiply generationally into some pretty damn good karma for more than just the ones you touch now. A big thumbs up!
