This occurred May 4-5, 2019:
Mostly caused by an extreme case of summit fever, along with an accident -- sprained shoulder -- at the summit of Mt Muir.
Three hikers, two inexperienced, and the leader with summit fever, ended up spending the night at Trail Crest without shelter. They would have died if the weather hadn't been so mild.
