Cool congrats! I think you may very well be the first person to summit in the last 2-3 weeks or so!
I'm happy to say that I summitted :-D The Chute just above Trail Camp was steep, but doable. The section right after Trail Crest was the hardest part by far. Wind-blown snow had filled in the trail, creating extremely steep sections. I had to kick steps into the fresh snow & use my ice axe. After about a half mile from Trail Crest the technical section was complete, and I just needed to finish the hike up to the summit plateau. I made it to the top at about 7am (2h 15min from Trail Camp to summit). I posted a report and a bunch of pictures to the "Mt. Whitney" Facebook group.
