Unless the precip picture changes dramatically, I am nearly 100% confident that on August 1st the key technical sections of the MR -- the couloir and the final 400 - will be completely dry. In fact, in summer 2019 which had 3x the snowfall as compared to the current picture (see
http://cdec.water.ca.gov/reportapp/javareports?name=PLOT_SWC), I climbed the MR in early August and the route was nearly snow free except for a few hundred feet of snow toward the top of the couloir that was no more than a few inches deep. It may even be snow free by mid July.
For the final 400, once you get past the crux which is the first few moves, look for the rocks on the right which are fun class 3. If you encounter any meaningful exposure you are going the wrong way.
