Hope no one minds the non-Whitney post--also posting on the Reddit for socal hikers--major longshot here!
Saturday I left my black/brown prescription Ray Bans at around 9k ft on the Baldy Bowl Trail, close to a mile past the Ski Hut (past the boulder field, up through the forested area, on the east side of the steep crisscrossed scree trails above that). I didn't realize it until 1k feet further down and I didn't have the strength to turn around.
I'm going to attempt a rescue this weekend but in case any of you are in that area a lot, and happen to see these or don't mind taking a look around, please let me know! I'd be happy to exchange a small REI or similar gift card for their successful return.
