The battle was actually in the town of Battle, so it should really be called the Battle of Battle.

The guy on the right in the picture is Heike Kamerlingh Onnes. He is credited with:

Liquifying He-4 (7/10/1908)
Discovering superfluidity in He-4 (1908)
Discovering superconductivity (1911)

There have been several Nobel prizes for work on superconductivity, but Onnes got his in 1913 for liquid he.

Maybe he retired to Prescott.
