Chances are very slim. Permits are not transferable.
You would have far better chances if you were at the Visitor Center south of Lone Pine at 2 p.m. on the 13th. They give out all the no-shows for the day hikes for the 14th then.
If more people are there than available permits, they hold a drawing. First number gets processed first.
And if you don't score the permits, go hike Mt. Langley out of Horseshoe Meadows. Or head up to White Mountain. There are a number of options, but chances of getting the permit are pretty good.
