I've decided that for my first trip up the MR that I want Laura and Burchey to be my co-guides.
There would be entertainment the whole way...drama, hijinx and the climax when Burchey is being perp walked down the final 400' after he is popped at the summit by George for not having his permit.
If you are as tall as you claim, then it wouldn't have anything to do with your attitude.
It simply makes you a droll troll.
Laura darlin, I hope that I haven't actually offended you by my claims of height, color, and rampant disregard for the permit system.
I am no troll (although droll could be argued). I submit, even if I have offended you in some way, that in person I could sway your opinion with my pasty deltoids. They are glorious. We'll have to set that up. Perhaps, through debate, you could win me over on the whole permit issue. I think that may have been what turned you off in the first place. Either that, or the mustache.
Also, with those Grivels, I'll be removing the red accordion things, and wrapping the whole handle with mastic tape so there won't be any red showing. I hope that helps.

Yeah, boy; I wanna be on that hike, too! That would be, er, interesting ... well, heck, highly entertaining, yes.
I just now read this entire exchange for the first time top-to-bottom. LMAO!! You two are cut out of the same bull-moose, feisty (note spelling), stubborn, fun-loving, independent, mountain-loving, last-word cloth, even if neither of you think you are.

If future generations are to remember us with gratitude rather than contempt, we must leave them more than the miracle of technology. We must leave them a glimpse of the world as it was in the beginning, not just after we got through with it.

One difference - only one of us admits they don't always get a permit.
Zing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Side note: while I was at lunch, I thought about this thread the whole time.
Other side note: some Madrock wire-biners just arrived in the mail (thanks REI dividend). You guessed it. RED
On a serious note, I'm sure Laura and I would have a blast together on a climb. To be fair, I'm only fake-hitting on her (and of course she's fake-turning me down, right? RIGHT!?!?) - my actual girlfriend would remove my eyeballs and punt them.
