This is a bit dated, but hadn't had a chance to post this until now. What a beautiful area. Hope to be out again soon.

Gould makes a great climb

Nyker...

Thank you for posting your TR. I had never heard of Mt.Gould before your TR. Your photos captured well how beautiful the Sierra Nevada range is....I clicked on the link that took me to 14ers.com......Is that a website you created?.......I was looking at all the ranges and trailheads and wondering why I didn't see the Sierra Nevada range...can you please answer this question.

Lynn-a-roo, 14ers.com is a website with hiking the Colorado 14ers (peaks over 14,000' elevation) as the primary subject. It has quite a large number of visitors, and an active series of forums.

Hi Lynn,

Yes, as Steve mentioned it's a site that focuses on Colorado climbing, specifically the Fourteeners - so the ranges mentioned there are the ranges in CO. I didn't create the site, only a member.

There are also many other mountains and areas talked about there in the "Other Peaks" and USA Other sections.

I've put some trip reports there mostly for Colorado peaks plus a few others, such as Gould, which was a really nice climb.
I don't have an external website where I upload photos, like flickr, etc., so, that site is also handy for trip reports including pics for other peaks, but I wanted to share the report with folks here since I am sure if people knew more about Gould they might like to climb it.
