Thought I would give a little update on the Mt. Whitney Guide app. It is now available on iPhone in the iTunes store and for Android in the Google Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.highsierraattitude.whitneyguide). The Android version has been completely overhauled for better performance and stability.
Both versions now include an elevation profile, and plot your location on the profile if you are within 1/4 mile from the trail.
