Mt Whitney Zone Forums Trip Reports Register Ridge Trip Report, December 18 2014

I went for a hike before work the other day. I only had 5 hours, so I did not summit Harwood or Baldy, but it was a fun day.

Nice pictures, ChevyII. I have to say, you have two things going for you:
1. The energy and drive to get up at 0-dark-30 to go hiking ...before work!
2. Living close enough to someplace where you can get up and out so quickly.

I am envious, especially #1.

1. I normally don't do stuff like this, but we never know how long the snow will stick around in SoCal.

2. Trails for the San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains are only an hour away. I feel a little spoiled sometimes
