Good morning All...

Some of you around here have followed, over the years, some of the exploits of my kids and I in the Sierra. I know it's been awhile since I posted anything, but we've achieved an ultimate summit... my "baby" boy graduated from high school this week. In 10 days, on June 22, he will begin another climb.. this time on his own without "Mommy's" help. He will be reporting to Marine Corps Recruiting Depot, San Diego (MCRD San Diego) for Boot Camp.

Thanks Gary! Hoping to be able to sneak up and see you guys for a minute in July...

Steve... when he walks up and taps me on the shoulder I know to prepare myself! ;-) It's something he's always done... likes to climb on my back for a piggy back ride occasionally too! Thank goodness he was a wrestler and conscience about keeping his weight below the 142 mark!

From one rite of passage to another...

Hopefully, he will become a member of the All-Marine Wrestling team and represent our country in the Olympics!

It has been done before...former Marine Greg Gibson. 1984 Olympics. Greco-Roman.

Something to look forward to!

Semper fidelis.

Journey well...
