Please read the following link: http://www.highsierratopix.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12843

Also the search in the Minarets for evidence, on 9/10-9/15, consisting of members from several forums, is a go.

Thank you for any help you can provide in this case, and in bringing closure for a fellow mountain brothers family.

Hi Maverick

I checked out George's map. Very nice utility for tracking who's been where. I tried to upload/attach a .gpx file, but it said it did not accept that format. Not sure why. Is there a particular version of .gpx that is needed? Seems an important feature, particularly for anyone going "Off trail", which I would think would be the most interesting to a search effort like this.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

John

George say's you need to zip the file, then upload John, let us know if that works. Thanks

I zipped the file, and created another start point. I was able to attach the zipped file to this second start point, but not sure how to display (or if I can display - perhaps this is something George does?).

Let me know if I need to do something differently.

I also inadvertently created a third start point that has no info. I "guess" George will delete this. I do not seem to have the option to delete.

George is having issues signing onto WZ John, he wrote the following:

"Correct. It doesn't display. I'd have to project it in our master. Maybe downstream we can get it to display... . No problem on extra point."

Mav, tell George to email me -- just use the "contact us" link, bottom of any page. I'll get him reconnected. If he has forgotten, his username is gdurkee. His account email is on sonic.net

I would have replied last night, but comcast was down.

I saw lots of "Matthew Greene Missing" posters in good shape on trail sign posts in that area - a really effective strategy for getting the word out to the masses at the right time and place. Unfortunately, nothing is turning up on the usual trail corridors. Most likely this will take a serious off-trail effort to find the next clue. Thanks for organizing these search parties, Mav.
