Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Conditions on Mt San Gorgonio / Mt San Bernardino

Anyone know a good way to check in on the conditions on Mt San Gorgonio and Mt San Bernardino. Was hoping to hike up there this weekend and am having a hard time finding a good webcam.

Note that the north sides of these peaks (San G anyway) are closed from the fires last year.

People are making their way to the peaks, safely and not so safely, according to friends that have climbed both the last few weeks.

Microspikes and poles should be included in your gear choices, especially for SB Peak above Limber Bench.

There have been air rescues this month for those caught unaware of conditions with a bad case of summit fever.

I summited San Gorgonio this past weekend via Vivian Creek. There was virtually no snow, had no issues.
