Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion NEED HIKING PARTNER JUNE 12th-13th

All my friends bailed out on the backpack trip, due to snow. Looking for a friend or friends to summit Whitney with!

Hi,

My buddy bailed because I refused to take his girlfriend with us. She lacks the physical ability, gear (axe and crampons) and the skill-set required to make summit. My dates were June 13-14th. I was going for a single day attempt starting at 2am on the 14th... via Whitney trail and then up the snow chute. Let me know if interested.

Actaully my dayhike permit is the 13th. I could be at the permit office by 11-12 on Monday the 12th.... have a late start and make it to Trail Camp for the night.
