Spider: "A computer program that prowls the internet looking for publicly accessible resources that can be added to a database; the database can then be searched with a search engine."
Some spiders that frequent our MB are those from Google and Yahoo, among others. These kinds of spiders are a good thing, as they increase our site's visibility on the Internet, over time.

Got it. Good thing.
I Googled "Whitney Zone" and "Mt. Whitney Zone" yesterday and saw that the site came up in the top 3 for both searches. "Mt. Whitney" still has a way to go though.

Hey Gary, Geeez, a "Spider". That's the thing that crawls on your face about midnight while you're still trying to get to sleep the night before your Whitney hike. Kind of the same thing as a "Mouse".
