Here are some pictures of the bristlecone pines I took on the weekend of the White Mountain open house last year, along with pictures of the road, White Mountain, etc. NOTE: while you do not need a permit to hike White Mountain, you do need a fire permit if you are going to have a camp stove at the trail head (the permit costs a dollar or so).
