Just in case the world does not end this year, it would be useful to be able to predict earthquakes. Some people believe that Raffaele Bendandi could do that. Now, I have not carefully examined his record, although I am aware that he is associated with a couple of famous predictions. I would love it if he actually had a prediction method that works.
Suppose that his method works. He has an army of fans and followers. Someone out there should have learned his system. They could then have predicted, say, the big Indian Ocean tsunami a few years ago, the more recent Haiti quake, the huge Chilean quake, and the recent huge Japanese quake. Or not.
But, reaching from beyond the grave, Bendani could predict a Roman quake that didn't happen. Or not.
