Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Anyone done Rim-Rim-Rim in Grand Canyon?

Thanks for the info. Since I live in Reno, I'm not familiar with Kings Canyon. I've been looking for a place to access the John Muir Trail close to Whitney. Maybe in KC? I've never back packed but thought I might try it for a couple of nights. On your described 24 and 48 hr hikes are you back packing (sleeping)?
