Is it just me or are there others out there that believe the price of a Lift Ticket is ASTRONOMICAL? If I had kids I'd be afraid to introduce them to skiing or snowboarding because chances are they'd fall in love with one of these sports but may never be able to afford it. Alpine skiing & boarding via chair lift is so expensive in my opinion. I'm happy I skied my brains out from age 17 to 45 when it was more afordable. I really feel sorry for young kids today who have to buy all the gear, drive miles or fly to get to a decent mountain and if lodging and meals are added into the price tag the cost is out of this world.
