I don't even have a basic first aid class, though I've been meaning to sign up. So I just did. REI offers weekend Wilderness First Aid Classes with the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS (I think the Sierra Club does as well). REI has a bunch of classes coming up, so I registered for a class in mid-March. Here's the info, for anyone in the Bay Area who is interested.
