Hello,
I am considering a winter ascent of either Mt Whitney (MR?) in the near future.
After doing some research, it would make sense for me to learn at least rope and cramponing skill, anchoring, self arrest and belay.
I found a few schools located out of state like
RMI and
NOLS but I struck out for California.
Do you have any recommendation of a school? Anything around Bishop or Lone Pine? I'd hate to go further North....
