Google Maps Street View is heading to the popular wilderness trails to map them out in panoramic "street view" virtual reality. This ambitious project kicked off recently with a team doing the Grand Canyon. I'm sure Mt Whitney, Half Dome, and the John Muir Trail will be coming soon.
