Another option would be North Dome. The trailhead/Parking is at the Porcupine Creek (not to be confused with Porcupine Flat, a mile to the west) parking area. Total distance is ~ 9 miles roundtrip. Mostly flat. View of Half Dome is Magnificent. Porcupine Creek is approximately 25 miles east of Crane Flat. Parking is on the right hand side going east.
