Hi Everyone! After staying in the hostel this Wednesday night, 8/28 I will hike from the Cottonwood Pass TH up the PCT, over Whitney and out WP on Saturday (weather permitting). My sticking point in this adventure is either getting back to my car at Cottonwood post-summit, or finding a kindred spirit who could give me a ride from Whitney Portal Thurs morning to Cottonwood. I'll be filming this hike for an upcoming PBS adventure series and would love to meet other hikers and Whitney fans. Thanks!
