I was told the weather "typically" changes the 3rd week in Sept. For me, I am 2 for 2 in seeing that happen, right on schedule.

In 2006, the day before our MR climb, the winds were >60 mph on the ridges, so no matter what the temp, it was a no go. We waited a day. Beautiful: No wind, 20 F.
