Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Camp at Outpost; then Trail Camp? (need some advice)

Those are excellent suggestions on specific camp site locations at both of those campgrounds. Where exactly are the ledges located around base camp? To east of Consolation Lake; to the North, South or the West? I can't seem to recall any ledges per se.
