There's a really nice spot at Consultation Lake itself. About 10 mins scrambling down from the trail, past the ledges that have previously been shown.
It's on the crosshairs in this map. I've paced out the distance to water at its >100ft so legal!

This is totally away from the crowds, with beautiful views, shelter from rocky outcrops, and next to some great swimming off the slabs that go into the lake.
